ABOUT WEST MORRIS
West Morris Church is a diverse and vibrant congregation. Our facilities are located near downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, along Morris Street on the near Westside of the city. We celebrated 100 years of ministry in 2014 year and are looking forward to many years to come.
The West Morris Church family is comprised of people from all over the metropolitan area, sharing a commitment to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ and be a light in our city.

MEET PASTOR KRISTEN
Pastor Kristen Bennett Marble came to West Morris Church in Summer 2017. She lives in West Newton with her husband John, her children, and a farmyard of chickens, ducks, pigs, goats, and more!
Pastor Kristen is passionate about hope, loves Scripture (especially the Old Testament!), and in her free time can be found exploring God's creation, reading, cooking, or thrift-store-shopping. She and her husband have been married 27 years, and together they have 10 children. Their family has been blessed and grown through the miracles of 3 birth children and 7 internationally adopted children from Haiti, Ukraine and Russia.
Pastor Kristen completed her DMin at Northern Seminary with Scot McKnight, focusing on the context of the New Testament. Her MDiv is from Portland Seminary where her studies focused on Ministry Leadership and Spiritual Direction. Kristen also has an MEd in Higher Education Administration, a BS in Chemistry, and a BA in German, all from the University of Idaho. She is the Chair of African Immigrant Ministries, an Apprentice Re-Missioning Coach with the V3 Movement, an adjunct professor at various colleges and seminaries, has authored and contributed to three books, and loves mentoring new leaders. Pastor Kristen grew up in Moscow, Idaho, the daughter of a college professor and preschool teacher. She was an Acolyte and Acolyte Coordinator, and a VBS and Sunday School teacher from a young age in the United Methodist Church. Early in ministry, Kristen started and led a Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) ministry, taught Sunday School and Bible Studies, and began an Adoption Ministry. She planted a house church in Glendive MT, co-planted and co-led a Set Free Ministry in Wichita KS, and served as an Associate Pastor in Wichita KS before moving to Indianapolis.
